Where to Shop -
Dufferin Grove Organic Farmers Market

Held every Thursday afternoon in the park across from Dufferin Mall at Dufferin and Bloor in downtown Toronto, the market offers exclusively organic farm fresh produce, baked goods, meat, jam and preserves, honey and mushrooms, as well as organic olive oil, homemade skin products, and more.

The market is known for its openness of information sharing and you may come away with some recipes for sun dried tomato pesto to go with your loaf of gluten free bread.

Pictured above, late summer produce lends autumn colours to the vegetable laden tables of local organic farmer Ben Sosnicki.

Don't miss the Tasting Fair on Sunday, October 2, 2005.

While most of the exquisite offerings in this beautiful European pâtisserie are made with flour, a number of pastries are gluten-free. The GF items are just as beautiful and just as delicious as the others. Everything in this shop appeals to the eye as well as the taste buds. The menu lists all the items that are gluten and nut free, but with the disclaimer that accidental cross-contamination is a possibility. The chef, however, is very careful, and no artificial flavours, additives or colour are used. Prices are very reasonable for this high quality.
